"The Psychic Realm is called the world of Illusion. Those caught in its spell may spend years, or even lifetimes, chasing chimeras and phantoms, and make little or no spiritual advancement as a result.
Its [snares] are based on the seven principles listed below. Practitioners of meditation should identify these and eliminate them from their minds, so they will not be frozen in their tracks when they cross this realm."
(1) "Glamor – the false appreciation of an individual based on excessive idealization. Glamor turns ordinary people into legends, heroes, stars or even gods."
(2) "Desire to receive adulation from others – this yearning to be noticed and thought of as special or magical may lead the spiritual seeker to develop and use psychic powers inappropriately."
(3) "Desire to know the secrets of others – this insatiable curiosity breeds gossip, rumor and obsession with others. The seeker may effectively lose him or her self by becoming co-dependently absorbed in the lives of others. The seeker must remember: "first to thine own self be true."
(4) "Desire to be regarded as mysterious – those who delve into arcane mysteries, uncover the hidden secrets of occultism, and discover psychic powers sometimes feel the impulse to wear special garments, talismans, or white robes, to create a mystique about themselves. They may, for example, take a new name based on numerology, or use a new name given to them in meditation by a "UFO commander."
(5) "The desire to be a savior – caring for and sensitivity to the suffering of others leads some individuals on the Psychic Realm to begin teaching spiritual truths to others. This has the result of entangling others in the webs of the Psychic Realm, and imposes new suffering by leaving them vulnerable to the influences of psychic entities. Psychic saviors often appear as "channels," "mediums," or "prophets" of various entities, and spread the teachings of these entities to others with missionary zeal."
(6) "The premature realization syndrome – because of the emotionalized quality of this realm, spiritual insights are overvalued and regarded as ultimate truths. This sensationalized information is spread to others and creates distortion by inducing others to lose their perspective, judgment and discernment. This in turn breeds spiritual hysteria and fanaticism. The many doomsday scenarios promulgated by psychic seers and the cultic groups embracing them testify to the compelling power of these visions."
(7)"The desire for heaven – on the Psychic Realm seekers may behold their departed loved ones, beautiful heavenly realms, and the worlds of "extra-terrestrials." Seekers should recognize that although heaven worlds are beautiful, ecstatic and pleasant to experience, it is important to not lose sight of the ultimate purpose of spirituality, which is to return to the Divine Source, and achieve Liberation, Enlightenment and Mastery."
There are seven Subplanes of the Psychic Realm. These are
- (1) the Materialization and Dematerialization Subplane
- (2) the Psychic Powers Subplane
- (3) the Healing Subplane
- (4) the Heavenly Realms Subplane
- (5) the Pleiadean Vortex Subplane
- (6) the Superreflective Aether
- (7) the Psychic Guide Subplane.
These are described briefly below.

| Psychic Powers | Your vehicle on the Psychic Powers Subplane has seven vortices or wheels of energy corresponding to the chakras of the Subconscious Mind, only vibrating at a higher octave. Each vortex has a different color that predominates at that center. The energy and intelligence residing in this vehicle's centers can be activated by concentration, visualization, and specialized breathing techniques, which turn on the psychic abilities of this vehicle. By causing these wheels to turn to the right (clockwise) or the left (counterclockwise), different abilities come into expression. |
| Healing | You behold healing shrines and mystery schools, where you learn the healing, divinatory and sensitive arts. |
| Heavenly Realms | The Heavenly Realms Subplane is the abode of many of the Spiritualist groups. On this Subplane, you will witness different types of spirit guides and inner teachers. If you are able to focus your attention on this Subplane, you will gain the ability to behold the spiritual forms of those who have departed life, and may even have the comforting experience of contacting your own departed loved ones. |
| Pleiadean Vortex | The widespread fascination with extra-terrestrials and UFOs in due in part to the many individuals who have had the opportunity to visit some dimension of this Subplane, either in meditation, dreams or a trance state. Your form upon this Subplane is that of an alien, or star being. UFO groups and other extra-terrestrial cultic groups originate on this subplane. |
| Superreflective Aether | The Superreflective Aether is a mirror of the spiritual evolution of the higher octaves of spiritual development. But unlike the Intellechy, where knowledge of the higher realms is intuitive and relatively passive, here the reflected forms of the spiritual beings you encounter actively engage you in dialog and will teach you. At this level, if you are very quiet within, you will be able to pick up the telepathic discourses of spiritual teachers and their disciples broadcasting in the Psychic Realm. Imagine a realm where you could buttonhole Socrates, Kant, Leonardo d'Vinci, or Amenhotep and ask them what they thought about any subject. | Psychic Guide | This is the other side of the Psychic Realm, in which each individual is viewed as a seed of colored light. Those evolving through the Subplane of Materialization and Dematerialization will have a seed colored in pastel shades of red. Those in the Subplane of Psychic Powers will have an orange-colored seed. Those who dwell on the Subplane of Healing are cast in yellow tones. Those abiding in the Heavenly realm scintillate in pastel greens. Denizens of the Pleiadean Vortex Subplane radiate pastel blues. Those who inhabit the Superreflective Aether are illuminated in indigo. Those who have reached this highest Subplane of the Psychic Realm shine with violet light. |

These powers arise naturally in the course of spiritual evolution. The seeking of these powers for egotistical motives, for example, to impress others, to win others' admiration or affection, or to influence or control others should be eschewed.
The proper attitude for meditating on these powers should be the gaining of greater understanding, and the wish to be of service to others.
Even if you do not meditate on these centers or actively work to develop these powers, those powers relevant to your Soul's Great Work will spontaneously be expressed.
This will occur either through Superconscious mental activity manifesting on the inner Planes, or certain of these powers can become "gifts," abilities anchored in the personality that are accessible by suggestion or invocation.
We give you the following guidelines for dealing with the appearance of psychic powers as you continue to grow and evolve spiritually:
- Your goal is to bring these powers under control of your intention and your Soul's will, and not allow them to operate unconsciously.
- Examine your motivations for seeking these powers.
- Concentrate on these centers for the purpose of gaining understanding and gaining mastery of the vehicle of psychic powers.
- It is best not to attempt to be of service to others using psychic powers. However, if you are led by your Soul to heal, do clairvoyant readings, etc., exercise great discretion in their use and recognize their limitations. Moreover, these powers have a capacity for distortion of information and misuse by others, and an inherent danger of harming others unintentionally through rendering these services, even though you are performing them with altruistic motives.
"A general rule is that no one who has not first been overshadowed by the Holy Spirit in the First Exoteric Planetary Initiation should attempt to use these powers, as the temptation to misuse them is very great up to that stage.
We are cautioned that until the requisite wisdom, discipline and humility has been integrated into the Soul, the presumption of using psychic powers to serve others may at best create a hindrance for them.
This happens because they can develop a dependency upon psychic readings. At worst, these powers may do them lasting injury, by providing incorrect information and wrong guidance that can seriously disrupt their health, their sanity, the order of their lives and their significant relationships."
- Verify all impressions and test all intuitive information received by critical analysis, by thinking through the implications of acting on the guidance received, and checking out information you have gathered against scientific and historical evidence.
- Do not follow entities who come to you in the Psychic Realm who offer to guide you unless you know who they are beyond a shadow of a doubt, and know they are true Adepts or Masters.
- Do not enter into a passive trance state while in the Psychic Realm—there is some risk of possession by entities from this band of the GCC.
- Do not give permission to channel any entity other than your own Soul.
