I saw you out in the moonlight laughing.
You were out among the pixies and wood nymphs,
Listening to the music of the forest.
Your toes were caressing the rich loamy earth.
You were lost among the fragrant, rainbow-hued
You smiled and made deaf-signs at me,
Beaming in the Astral Light.
It seemed you did not fully touch the ground.
Though large of frame, you walked so lightly
Like a feather on the forest floor
That I expected you to levitate, soaring to the
mansions of your joy.
All fins and flippers, you attack the sea,
Paddling like a furry puppy, so glad to be alive.
We are honored as your splashing here,
Thrashes this pond into bubbly, effervescent
And though you struggle so, we shall not let
Oh Judy, Judy, your goblet is so full of joy
that you can scarcely contain it!
Your thoughts, like fluffy clouds, come gently
You reach out with your magic pen to write upon
Words of goodwill and hope to lift up and inspire.
Go out now joyful cherub, and set the hearts
of men afire.
